He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George "Pokey" Ward, Sr. and Priscilla "Dewey" Ward; his wife Patricia Ward; his daughter Sarah Szymborski (Mike); his stepchildren, Michael Alvord (Carrie) and Melissa Alvord; his sisters, Diane Boylan (James) and Kathleen Goehringer (Victor); and his grandchildren, Ava, Dylan and Michael.
