It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Simmons (Williamstown, New Jersey), who passed away on September 19, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Fred Michaelis. She is survived by: her parent Lula May Michaelis; her husband Donald Simmons; her siblings, Edna Gaunt, Phyllis O'Brien, Claire Ollinger (Tootie) and Herman Michaelis (Bud); and her sons-in-law, Donna Eighmey, Mark Eighmey, Linda Wilson, Bob Wilson and Laurie Simmons. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren (Amy and Brian Rovani, Bob and Jill Wilson, Brenda Hancock, Randie and Raun Lynch, Rich and Jenn Wilson, Don Meyers, Mark Eighmey Jr, Adam Eighmey and Mary Conover, Samantha Meyers and Kyle Morgenweck, and Christine Meyers), and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Heartland Hospice, or Meadow View Nursing Center.
