He was predeceased by: his brother Victor Behrens. He is survived by: his wife Alicia A. Sanchez-Behrens; his children, John F. Behrens (Jeanette), Krista J. Behrens, René Dominguez and Dalila Dominguez; his grandchildren, Meah, Maria, Lola, Julian, Leo, Allie, Ryan, Daniel and Emmi; and his brother William Behrens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
