He is survived by: his spouse Helen Long; his children, Cheryl Steese (Timithy) and Joan Covert (Kerry DeGroat); his siblings, James Long and Susan Lawlor; and his grandchildren, Gregory, Thomas, Rebecca, Jonathan, Bradley and Adam.
