He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Jane; his children, Susan Pacewic (Sean) and John M. Gallagher, Jr. (Maria); his grandchildren, Shane, Charlize, Jack and Claire; and his siblings, Kathleen McPoyle (late Bernard), Nancy Terifay (Andrew), William Gallagher (Betty Jean), Mary Cannon (Jim) and Josephine Smyth (Jerry). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
