He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Wayrynen and Richard Wayrynen; his son Mark Wayrynen; and his sister Janet Todd (John). He is survived by: his wife Diana Wayrynen; his children, Christie Gayda (Mike) and Tricia Swan (Rick); his grandchildren, Hannah Gayda, Shane and Brooke Swan; and his sister Anna Uhland (Albert). He is also survived by his wife and had a love of animals, especially his pets.
