He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Young. He is survived by: his parent Teodoro Young; his spouse Evangeline M. Young; his children, John Young, Jr. (Darlene), Evalynn Taduran (Augustus) and Johnson Young (Anjul Dimagiba); his grandchildren, Daphne of John, III, Jericho, Juliana, Aurora, Gabriel, Anika, Joseph and Angela; and his siblings, Higy Chan, Danny Young, Henry Young, Eliza Young, William Young, Albert Young, Jean Young and Nancy Young.
