He was predeceased by: his sibling Carmen. He is survived by: his spouse MaryAnne; his children, Tara Mignone (Michael) and Kristine Matteo; his siblings, Frank Matteo (Sandi), Vincent and Nicholas; and his sister-in-law Patricia Testa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Joe asked that donations in his memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
