He was predeceased by: his child Russell; and his parents, Matilda Gushea and Charles Gushea. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; and his stepsons, Larry Walton (Sue) and Ken Walton (Dee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
