He is survived by: his wife Barbara McDermott (McGann); his son Dr. Brian McDermott; his granddaughter Ruby McDermott; his sister Patricia Runner; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Pickering and Denise McGann. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
