With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Marie Policastro of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Rose Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rose Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rudolph Policastro; her sons, John Policastro and Craig Policastro (Nancy); her grandchildren, Nicole Policastro, Dr. Alexa Policastro-Gil (Michael) and Scot Policastro; and her sister Dr. Maria Gershon (Mel).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose may be made to the Valley Hospital Foundation by visiting ValleyHospitalFoundation.org.
