He is survived by: his children, Christina Pironti (DJ Schmertz), Angela Pironti-Ponzo (Joseph Ponzo, Jr.), Michelle Fistunenko (Jason) and James Pironti, Jr. (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Valentina, Claire, Daniela, Julia and Buddy; his sister Roseann Cammarota; and his sibling's children, Lilla, Vicky, Gino, Jerry, Helen, Kathy, Denise and Vince.
