She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Karacand and Alvira Karacand; and her husband Albert Basales. She is survived by: her children, Russell Basales, Karen Gurigis (Bob), Jeffrey Basales (Darcey) and Michele Bianco; her grandchildren, Zachary, Jenna, Cheyenne, Nico and Anthony; and her brother Albert Karacand. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
