It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Parker of Woodstown, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 8, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Herbert Smith and Ruth Smith; her husband James W. Parker; her children, Gerilyn Parker, Kevin Ford, James, Gail Parker, Carina, Robert Zippel, Timothy Parker, Shawn, Karla Parker and Matthew Parker; her grandchildren, Nicole, Zach, Bobbie, Parker, Christian, Jessica, Daniel and Alaina; her brother Fran; her sister-in-law Pat Smith; her sister Maryann; her brother-in-law Dave McIntyre; her siblings, Dolores Smith and Joe; her sister-in-law Dolores Smith; and her brother Leo Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Joan Parker's memory to the Our Lady of Mercy Academy Scholarship Fund, 1001 Main Road, Newfield, NJ 08344.
