She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Robinson and Minerva Robinson; her husband Philip F. McGowan; her son Philip H. McGowan; and her granddaughter Suzanne Leigh Bender.
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah "Sally" Bender (John "Jack" Bender); her granddaughter Kristen L. Bender; her great grandchild Devyn Walters; and her great great grandchildren, Christopher, Lawrence and Parker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
