He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann; and his brother John Warnet. He is survived by: his children, Judy Koeber (Tim Ryan) and Peter R. Warnet, Jr.; his grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren Koeber, Jacob and Ryan Warnet; his brother Louis Warnet (Shirley); and his sister-in-law Shirley Jean Warnet.
