It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Toohey Jr. (Wyckoff, New Jersey), who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law William Griffith; his nieces, Elizabeth Truslow and Theresa Griffith; and his cousins, Dolores Szott and Donna LeMore.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke's RC Church (340 N Franklin Tpke, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the St. Luke's Cemetery (340 N Franklin Tpke, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423).
