He is survived by : his children, Evans Oakerson (Janine) of Standardsville, VA, Ann Marie Mershon (Bill) of Jackson, NJ, Andy Oakerson (Tracey) of Denton, NC and Dawn Bunce (Don) of Cream Ridge, NJ; his former life partner Judith Oakerson of Jackson; his close friend Helen Benti of Yardville; his grandchildren, Matthew Oakerson, Ashley Norman (Will), Nicole (Ryan Mershon) and Meghan (Timothy Smith); and his great grandchildren, Riley, Madilynn and Jaxson.
