Tapia; his children, Miguel Tapia, Roman Tapia and Marisa Lopez; his daughter-in-law Michelle Tapia; his grandchildren, Olivia, Emilia, Roman, Vivian Tapia, Noah, Jonah and Brianna Lopez; and his siblings, Sandra Bailey, Dorothy Tapia-Chavez and Larry Tapia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
