Zacarias Pana Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zacarias Pana (Alcalde, New Mexico), born in Embudo, New Mexico, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Paña; his brother Joseph Paña; his parents, Zacarias Paña, Sr. and Sofia Paña; his parents-in-law, Hilario and Veronica Martinez; and his siblings-in-law, Idalia Gallegos, Lucy Gallegos and Larry Hliario Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Zac Paña (Rolanda Paña) and Armaida Santana (Lorenzo Santana); his grandchildren, Alyssa Paña, Isaac Paña, Ariela, Esaias, Santiago, Elario and Ezekiel Santana; his great grandchildren, Sophiya and Daniel Bryant; and his sisters-in-law, Annabelle Paña, Joyce Martinez, Cecelia Vargas and Virginia Vigil. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
