He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rivera and Ricardo Sr.; his stepmother Lucia Rivera; and his siblings, Ramon Rivera, Evangeline Rivera and Benjamin Rivera.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Rivera; his children, Ronald Rivera (Lorraine), Donald Rivera (Kathy) and Marlene Eaton (Brian); and his sisters, Delfinia Rivera and Teresita Bustamante. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
