It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Manuel Montanez Sr. (Anthony, New Mexico), born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Esperanza Muñoz Montanez; his granddaughter Destinee Krystine Ochoa; and his great grandchild Jordon Daniel Montanez. He is survived by: his children, Mark Montanez, Jr. of El Paso, Juan M. Montanez, Jr. (Katie) of El Paso, Carmen Moreno (Eddie) of Anthony and Charmaine Ochoa (Javier); his significant other Cruzita Gomez; his sisters, Dina Guevera and Irene Salazar; and his brother-in-law Luis P. Muñoz. He is also survived by father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, JUAN "JOHNNY" MANUEL MONTANEZ, SR. age 73, of Anthony passed from this life on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. "Johnny", as he was fondly known to family and friends.
