It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rito C. Sanchez (Anthony, New Mexico), who passed away on December 6, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdalena Calderon and Isidro Sanchez; his brother Rafael Sanchez; and his son Rafael Montelongo Sanchez. He is survived by: his spouse Margarita Montelongo Sanchez; his children, Minerva DeVeau (David) of Santa Teresa, Ricardo Montelongo (Belen) of Anthony and Jerry Montelongo of Anthony; and his sisters, Luz Sanchez of Westway, TX, Esperanza Gonzales (Luis) of El Paso, TX, Emma Moreno (Carlos) of El Paso, TX, Laura Olivia Ostos (Agapito) of El Paso, TX and Celia Sanchez of Canutillo. He is also survived by seven grandchildren two great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
