With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl W. Fitzgerald of Bernalillo, New Mexico, born in Auburn, Illinois, who passed away on December 21, 2021 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl W. Fitzgerald to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville Fitzgerald and Pauline Fitzgerald. He is survived by : his wife Helen; his sons, Carl Fitzgerald (Angie) and Troy Martinez (Jennifer); his stepdaughters, Melissa and Sarah; his grandchildren, Kala, Cage, Tyler, Gino, Matthew, Alyssa and Selena; and his siblings, Donny, Shelby, Orville Jr. and Harvey.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Fisher House Foundation or another veterans organization.
