He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Epifanio Ortega (Rosa Diaz Ortega) and Rosa Diaz Ortega; his children, Leslie Ortega and Gregorio Ortega, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jinelle, Yurissa, Anahi, Daniel, Santiago, Khloe, Ehylzel, Ehylany, Rodrigo Jr. and Gianna; and his great grandchild Lorenzo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Funeral Home (401 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church (1002 Debaca St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
