He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lee Terral; his son Jimmy Terral; and his brother J. D. Terral. He is survived by: his daughter Shonni; his son-in-law Greg Sokora of Lubbock, Texas; his grandchildren, Brandon Sokora (Lindsay) and Lynsey Rice (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Ava, Aliya, Alexander, Austin Sokora, Ellison and Lyla Rice; and his brother-in-law Mike Bolton.
