It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sue Alsup (Clayton, New Mexico), born in Morley, Michigan, who passed away on April 10, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Velma Smith and Robert Smith; her friend Rhoda Leavitt; her children, Jim (Tracy Alsup), Gary (Carrie Alsup), Brian (Kelly Alsup), Rodney (Janet Alsup), Jennifer (Kevin King) and David (Lauren Alsup); and her friend Katie King Alsup. She was also cherished by twenty grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Sue's memory to the Northern New Mexico Food Bank. Donations are accepted at this link Born in Morley, Michigan to parents Velma and Robert Smith on June 18, 1929, Sue graduated as salutatorian from Houghton Lake High School in Michigan in 1947.
