He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Martin Sloan and Amos Sloan Sr. Amos'. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sloan; his children, Byron Sloan, Heather Sloan and Shandiin Sloan; and his siblings, Martin Sloan, Jonathan Sloan, Beverly Becenti, Regina Roanhorse and Caroline Yazzie.
