He is survived by: his wife Isidra Perez of Chavez; his children, Jose Chavez (Leticia), Martin Chavez (Graciela) of Mex, Ramon Chavez (Montana) of Deming, Miguel (Sandra) of Columbus, Ernesto (Dora), Francisco Chavez of Deming, Luprecia Chavez (Eulogio) of Deming, Candelaria Chavez (Manuel), Maria Lourdes Chavez (Mike) of Deming, Cruz Chavez (Rigoberto) of Deming, Carmen Chavez of Mex and Juana Chavez; and his siblings, Alfonso, Ramon, Juan, Manuel Chavez, Mila, Guadalupe and Hortencia Chavez.
