He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Smyer and Iris Warnock Smyer; and the mother of his children Margie Prince Smyer. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Tyson, Kelly Smyer and Ryan Paulk; his grandson Grayson Smyer; his siblings, Zack Smyer (Sarah), Jane Anglin, Karen Hamer and Terry Maker; and his uncle Frank Smyer (Fannie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
