With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Fernandez of Deming, New Mexico, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarita Ochoa and Gaspar Fernandez; and his siblings, Gaspar Fernandez and Mary Chavez. He is survived by: his wife Beatriz Fernandez; and his children, Rudy Fernandez (Elma), Freddie Macias (Cindy), Jorge Porras (Maria Luisa), Juan Lopez (Guillermina) of Deming, Henry Torres (Cecilia), Alma Natale (EJ), Yvonne Castillo (Sam Bencomo) of Hurley, Veronica, Adriana Fernandez of Deming, Margarita Parra (Martin) of Buckeye, AZ and Amanda Fernandez of Deming. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation with Covid 19 restrictions in place will begin at 4 o'clock Monday September 28, 2020 at Baca's Funeral Chapel with the rosary service to follow at 6 o'clock.
