He was predeceased by: his son Eduardo Diaz; and his grandson Roy May. He is survived by: his daughter Rosa Maria; his siblings, Jesus, Samuel, Miguel, Juvenal, Raul and Rebecca; his wife Antonia Perez Diaz; his children, Javier Diaz (Diana), Armando Diaz (Sonia), Samuel Diaz, Carlos Diaz (Blanca), Elia Holguin (Art) and Rosie Chancellor (Ken); and his daughter-in-law Guillermina Diaz. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
