He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Herrera and Eloisa Herrera of Dixon; and his siblings, Antonio Jr., Carol and Concha.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Herrera of Dixon; his children, Valerie Herrera of Dixon and Alex Herrera (Emily) of Dixon; his grandson Nathan Herrera of Dixon; his stepgrandson Okhu Salazar of Dixon; and his siblings, Lillian Herrera of Albuquerque, Frank Herrera of Mexico, Lawrence Herrera (Theresa) of Dixon, Loretta Gonzales and Robert Gonzales of Espanola.
