She was predeceased by : her parents, Anatalita Apao and Catalino Apao; her parents-in-law, Ray and Cleotilde Garcia; and her sons, Steven, Gary and Randy Melendrez.

She is survived by : her children, Carlita, Mike Melendrez (Victoria), Danny Melendrez (Crystal) and Honey Melendrez (Richard); her grandchildren, Shaniece (Victor) and Merrissa (Red); and her great grandchild Eliajah Melendrez. She is also survived by the many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren along with all of her family members.
