He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Dolores Polanco and Maria Ernestina Villalobos of Jesus Yanez; and his siblings, Lorenzo Polanco, Antonio Polanco and Gabriela Polanco.

He is survived by : his wife Angelica Polanco; his children, Diego Polanco, Veronica Polanco (Omar), Andrea Royval (Ruben) and Jessica Polanco; his siblings, Enrique, Ruben, Victor, Jose "Paco", Gloria, Leonor, Maria and Micaela; and his grandchildren, Giovanni, Gabriel, Gustavo, Emilio, Julian, Maya, Dannikka and Mica.
