He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Eck and Madonna Behrens; and his siblings, Joey, Bobby Eck and Marion Gustofison.

He is survived by : his wife Gloria Eck; his daughters, Evette Medina, Kathy Florez (David), Dana Presley (Ronnie) and Dina Johnson; and his sisters, Dorothy Jacobi (Wayne), Susie Fenke (Ken) and Helen Eck-Vickers. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
