He was predeceased by : his parents, B. A. "Bill" and Zoy Tolbert (Jordan); his son Andy Pauly; his brother Clois; and his grandson Jamie Tolbert.

He is survived by : his former life partner LoAnna Fetherolf; his son Scott; his wife Marge Pauly; his children, Kathy George, Steve Pauly (Vicki) and Troy Tolbert (Jane); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Pauly Custard (Cameron), Sean Pauly (Megan), Samantha Crossley (Danl), Wesley Tolbert and Devin Pauly. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
