It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flora L Gallegos (Fort Sumner, New Mexico), born in Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on April 10, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Antonio Lucero and Paublita Lucero (Gonzales); her children, Jimmy George Gallegos and Lucinda Camila Gallegos; and her brothers, Raymond Lucero, Tony Lucero, Jose Lucero and Estevan Lucero.

She is survived by : her husband Guadalupe Gallegos; her children, Merenciano Gallegos of Oklahoma, Guadalupe "J. R.", Juanita Jones of Fort Sumner, Ruby Titterude of Everman and Rose Mary Heldt (Craig) of Clovis; and her siblings, Adan Lucero of Clovis, Eva Gallegos of Fort Sumner and Emma Salazar of Clovis. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
