It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmy A. Hines (Fort Sumner, New Mexico), born in Laguna Beach, California, who passed away on July 3, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his son Billy Christie; and his son-in-law Mark Scherwitt. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Hines of Fort Sumner; his children, Kenneth Hines (Kathy) of Clovis, Debra Scherwitt of Katy, Jami De Jane (Guy) of Mead and Tonya Elwarth; and his brother William Hines (Janice) of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to a favorite charity.
