He was predeceased by : his parents, Francisco "Poncho" Gaona and Maria Consuelo Gutierrez Gaona. He is survived by : his daughters, Tina Padilla (Benny), Caroline Soto (Victor) and Georgianna Carr (Dean); his brothers, Benny Gaona (Lucy), Frank Gaona, Danny Gaona (Cordie) and Eddie Gaona (Terry); his grandson Isaac R. Padilla; and his siblings, Cecelia Gaona, Emilio Reyna and Julian Gaona. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren. 7 great-grandchildren.
