She was predeceased by : her parents, Geronimo Castaneda and Trinidad "Moran" Castaneda; her brothers, Lawrence Castaneda, Sr. and Jerry Castaneda; and her great great grandchild Juan Sanchez.

She is survived by : her children, Mary S. Gonzales of Gallup, Theresa Castaneda of Phoenix and Trinity Manges of Gallup; and her sister Juanita Ramirez of Gallup. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
