He was predeceased by: his parents, Remijo Jojola and Delores Jojola; his siblings, Cecilia Lucero, Josie Zuni and Frank Jojola; and his grandson James Rey Jojola.
He is survived by: his spouse Irma H. Jojola; his children, Phillip Jojola, Dolly Lujan, Lucille Jojola, Lenora "Lee" Paez (James), Irvin Jojola (Linda) and Kaye Johnson (Paul); his grandchildren, Monica, Jennifer, Catherine, Ashley, Kirsten, Katie and Alix; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Luke, Mark and Ayanna; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jasmine, Melissa, Darryl Jr., Makayla and Bryce; his sister Helen Lucero (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Celestino Lucero, Florence Notah (Joseph) and Carroll Hunt (Annabelle). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
