He was predeceased by : his parents, Esquipula Armijo and Seferina C. Armijo (Chavez); and his brothers, Efren Armijo and Richard Armijo. He is survived by : his wife Janie Armijo; his children, Don Armijo (Davonna), Kristie Powell (John), Dannette Brownlee (Larry), Ernie Armijo (Catrina Colón), Beverly Armijo and Zachary Armijo (Samantha McClure); and his sister Paula Privetts. He is also survived by grandchildren; 17/great-grandchildren.

A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (515 N Date St, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901).
