It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ray Hadaway Jr. (Las Vegas, New Mexico), who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy R. Hadaway, Sr.; his grandparents, Lellis I. Hadaway and Dora; and his mother-in-law Linda Castellano. He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his stepchildren, Isabelle Pate (Ron), Isaac Valdez (Carrie) and Monica Marquez; his stepgrandchildren, Jose Luis (Priscilla), Dominique (Santiago), Nadia, Ryleigh, Patrick and Kiara; his stepgreat-granddaughter Lillia; his father-in-law Melaquias Castellano; and his siblings-in-law, Melaquias Castellano Jr. (Gretchen), Berna Baca (Robert), Chris (Tammy), Yvonne and Ambrose (Renee). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
