He was predeceased by : his father Juan Benito; and his brother Alfredo Artiaga. He is survived by : his wife Rebecca T. Artiaga of Lordsburg; his daughter Lorena Artiaga of Lordsburg; his mother Ramona Artiaga of Lordsburg; his siblings, Benny Artiaga (Paqui) of Lordsburg, Jaime Artiaga (Maria) of Las Cruces and Suzanna Artiaga of Lordsburg; and his grandsons, Roman and Isaac Murillo.
