He was predeceased by : his parents, Natividad Tarango and Antonia Tarango (Ozeta); and his grandson Oscar Tarango. He is survived by : his wife Angie Tarango; his children, Santiago Tarango Jr. of Lordsburg, Daniel "Jama" Tarango (Donna) of Lordsburg, David Tarango of Lordsburg, Chris Tarango (Cambria) of Phoenix, AZ, Gloria Jarrott (John) of Lordsburg and Rebecca Tarango McCabe (Brandon) of Phoenix, AZ; and his sister Margaret Rabb of Las Cruces. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
