It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Victoria Barboza of Lordsburg, New Mexico, born in Safford, Arizona, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father George C. Holguin; and her grandparents, Lila, Henry Holguin, Robert and Maria Barboza.
She is survived by : her mother Patty Barboza of Lordsburg; her close friend Tyler Bednorz of Lordsburg; her daughters, Serenity Rae Holguin, Nevaeh Trinidad Mejia and Angel Nicole Mejia; and her siblings, Robert Holguin (Rhiannon) of Lordsburg, Victor Holguin (Yolanda) of Phoenix, AZ, Chris Holguin of Lordsburg, Valerie Artiaga (Freddy) of Phoenix, AZ, Joann Clark (Gabriel) of Phoenix, AZ, Patricia Clark (Gregory) of Lordsburg, Rachel Holguin of Lordsburg and Georgia Holguin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Holguin Jr., Isaiah Holguin, Liam Holguin, Joe Holguin, Freddy Artiaga III, Gregory Gholson Jr., Jayvyn Clark, and Jonah De La Garza Jr. The COVID 19 restrictions are still in effect. The church has the 25% capacity; masks and social distancing are advised.
