She was predeceased by : her parents, Carmen Duran and Hilario Padilla; her husband Eloy Vigil; her son Joseph Vigil; and her siblings, Rosina Padilla, Merlinda Romero, Leroy Padilla and Larry Padilla.
She is survived by : her children, Alfredo Vigil (Eleanor) of Taos and Yolanda Brewer (Dan) of Santa Fe; her sisters, Jennie Jiron of Santa Fe and Alice Velarde (Alex) of Santa Fe; her grandchildren, Ramon Romero, Carmela Smith of Albuquerque, Ryan McCarthy (Keith) of Carlsbad, Lia Romero, Vincent Smith (Jessica) of Albuquerque, Patrick Vigil (Maria) of Albuquerque and Anthony Vigil (Aryanne) of Los Alamos; and her great grandchildren, Gabriela Warren, Jackson Romero, Eva Clevenger, Easton Smith, Madison McCarthy and Shauna McCarthy. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Ramona was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2013.
