He was predeceased by: his parent Herlinda Herrera; his brother Alfredo; and his children, Herlinda and Marcos. He is survived by: his wife Isidra Herrera of Los Lunas, NM; his children, Marisol, Heriberto Herrera (Monica) of Meadow Lake, NM, Alma Aguilera (Mark) of Deming, NM and Myra Villezcas (Gerardo) of Pima, AZ; his stepdaughters, Armida Saenz (Ernesto) and Antonia Olivares; and his uncle Carlos Herrera of Hurley, NM.
