He was predeceased by : his siblings, Manuel, Bone, Petro Lucero, Aurora Lucero, Carmen Graston, Elvira Castillo, Amelia Moro, Alicia Lucero and Emelia Rodriguez; and his nephews, Lorenzo and Fred Lucero.
He is survived by : his children, Leon Lucero of Portales, Sammy Lucero (Angie Garcia) of Memphis, TX, Maria Librada (Esteban Garcia), Adelina (Ernest Villanueva), Antonia (Martin Zamora) and Stella (Joe Madrid). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
